There is grumbling I hear from Small Businesses from time to time about dealing with "Near Middle-Easterner's".

The grumbling centers around the Near Middle-Easterner's can't be trusted, they do nothing but grind on the price continually, then are never happy anyway, or they will break their word over an agreement already in place.

I recently heard the same premise again.

A small business owner signed someone of Near Middle-Eastern descent to a contract, the Near Middle-Easterner then reneged, signed a new contract for similar services with another Near Middle-Easterner, thereby leaving the original American business owner out in the cold...

Apparently, this is happens now and then...perhaps even more than now and then.

I started thinking about all the "hot-spots" in the world....Iran vs Irag, Catholics vs Protestants in Ireland, Israelis vs Palestinians, Pakistan vs India, Turkey versus Greece, China vs Taiwan... the list goes on and on...all over the world.

Somehow, in the U.S. we think we are above all of this, we are civilized...but are we?

Our country was founded by indentured servants and profiteering Europeans. Our ancestors did not stay in Europe and make that continent greater, they moved to America,..and started over...

And in the process, we killed millions of Indians and then claimed to have "discovered and created" America ourselves...

Even in our own country's infancy, we used slavery to make our country "great". We then had a fractious war between the North and South that to this day is still grimly remembered in the minds of many Southerners.

I see one common thread in all of this murderous bull-shit. You never can fix where you live.

You look for new land and a new beginning, once there, you erase any existence of anything that went before you, then claim the new place as your own...

Then the "Civility" begins.

All over the world, conflicts exist between bordering nations, and a new reality must be interpreted.

What the Taliban has wrought was the only logical course for them to follow.

When bordering countries despise each other, don't trust each other, can't work together, the only hope left is to go elsewhere....

But unlike three hundred years ago, when elsewhere was America, there is no elsewhere nowadays, it's all booked up, full.

Actually, even back then, America was all booked up, our ancestors just pretended it wasn't.

What does this have to do with the Near Middle-Easterner who reneged on a contract?

The Near Middle Easterners' could not do business amongst themselves until an American interceded.

Once the bar was set by the American business person, the two Near Middle-Easterners could now talk.

Only after the Agreement with the American was reached could the Near Middle-Easterners do business...the never would have happened without the American being the catalyst in the situation.

And in the process, they victimized the American.

Why?

Perhaps because the two Near Middle-Easterner's really don't trust each other.

The Near Middle-Easterners have mistrust and anger that has fomented over hundreds of years.

The Near Middle-Easterners can only create any agreement with their own kind if it is preceded by a previously agreed upon contract involving the American Business person.

So, the Taliban did just that...the Taliban did EXACTLY what the Near Middle-Easterner did when dealing with the American Businessman.

The Taliban first worked with the U.S. to depose Russia from Afghanistan, then they turned on the U.S....but why???

Because now an opportunity was created to bond with their brothers of the region that they normally would distrust or be at war with.

To make the bonding among the region have a chance, a common enemy was created...JIHAD!!! JIHAD!!! JIHAD!!!

JIHAD!!! against America.

....Brotherhood through JIHAD!!!

These assholes are so sick of each other, the only way they can bond with each other after centuries of hate and mistrust against each other is to create a new, bigger, greater evil that they must unite to defeat.

And the band plays on.
